STRATEGIC PLANNING
We help organizations to design and implement fully integrated strategic planning. The objective is to align every person and team around a compelling common purpose and to bring measureable accountability and focus to every choice and action.
We have helped many organizations to align their structure with their strategy in order to be able to successfully and effectively execute against their plans. Our work has encompassed small organizations (50 staff, $20m turnover) and large organizations (8000 staff, $2B turnover). We have many case studies that demonstrate the effectiveness and impact of this work.
We are skilled at designing and facilitating organizational retreats and workshops that have high impact and measurable outcomes. These can be focused around the big issues – strategy, mission and vision – or particular issues – conflict, alliancing, community consultation, project management and change management. We understand the conversations that must take place in order to produce organizational change and engender personal commitment and are both experienced and effective in ensuring these outcomes.
We define performance management as “Measuring and monitoring progress against the strategic plan at every organizational level and ensuring that it remains current, relevant and on track throughout the planning cycle”. Most strategic plans result in every person in the organization having between 3 and 5 strategic objectives. Without the right tools, these cannot be tracked, measured or managed. Our proprietary software, Harbinger, allows a direct line of sight between strategy and organizational outcomes at the business, departmental, team and individual level.
